TSU has reached its initial Fund Raising Goal of $10,000 for concept/design work prepared by Site Design Group, Inc.  Please help us raise $18,000 for construction plans by sending  your donation today!!

 

TSU will need to raise an estimated $650,000 to build the type of skateboard park needed to suit the community (approximately 15,000 to 20,000 sq. ft.)

             -apply for grants

             -conduct all types of fund raising

 

-contact major local corporations and foundations to support youth in the

             community either directly or through grant writing

            

-contact skateboard/BMX industry companies for support of all kinds

            

-contact local construction material companies for In-Kind donations such as…

             -concrete

             -steel railings

             -rebar and forming materials

             -brick and stone

             -trees and shrubs for landscaping

 

-connect with Village of Wauwatosa businesses and churches that have

             voiced financial support

            

-contact local skate/BMX shops and small businesses for support (% of day’s

             sales to TSU, etc…)

 

-continue to hold benefit concerts and plan larger scale events such as

             alternative sport demos

 

-hold raffles and larger community charity events (such as a dinner and

             silent auction?)

 

-grass roots community fundraising from Tosa’s citizens

 

-continue T-shirt sales and possibly branch out into more merchandise
