Text Box:

The memory of Jack M. Doyle is a driving force behind this skate park organization. Tragically, Jack died in October 2006 from a “game” played by many adolescents- the Choking Game. He never could have known that making himself pass-out would eventually cost him his life.

As one of our founding members, TSU has felt a severe absence without Jack. His was one of the faces that really stood out in the crowd. You could see his gears turning all the time.

Jack took the initiative to develop the first TSU web site, where he so simply stated...“We want a skate park, but it will take years and take money. “

According to his parents, waiting for the TSU park to be built was the first thing he ever expressed patience for.

One of our favorite Jack quotes….”yeah, we want people to know we’re not just a bunch of punk kids…

...we just want a place to play!!”

Please visit the links below to learn more about Jack. You can also learn how to help raise awareness of the “Choking Game” that took Jack from us way too soon.

TSU misses Jack dearly. His passion and dedication to this skate park project were big part of why we have decided to continue, despite many challenges, and develop this dream.

Let’s get that park built!
